Marshall Closing License Tag/Plate Agencies

MARSHALL – The town of Marshall has announced it will not renew its contract to continue operating the license plate agency on North Main Street. The agency will close at the end of business on Thursday. The town has operated the agency since October 2006.

License plate agencies offer vehicle registration services and title transactions as well as vehicle license renewals, replacement tags and duplicate registrations. Currently, there are about 120 LPAs across North Carolina.

Area offices open for license plate services after the Marshall closure are at 728 W. Main St., Burnsville (682-2312); 85 Tunnel Road, Suite 16-B, Asheville (252-8526); and 143 Smoky Park Highway, Suite 8, Asheville. Most are open 9 a.m.-5 p.m., but calling ahead is advised.

Welcome to Marshall North Carolina

Took this quick picture when I was entering the Town of Marshall. Great little country town with big potential. The railroad is to the left with the River after. This whole town is looking forward to the economy picking up and this town thriving. Many local artists from the area have shops in this downtown Marshall area.
